What the Warranty Covers
SmarrCopy™ warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period. If a product proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, SmarrCopy™ will, at its sole option, repair or replace the product with a similar product. Replacement products or parts may include remanufactured or refurbished parts or components. The replacement unit will be covered by the balance of the time remaining on the customer's original limited warranty. SmarrCopy™ provides no warranty for the third-party software included with the product or installed by the customer.

How Long the Warranty is in Effect
1. SmarrCopy™ Standalone and autoloader CD/DVD duplicator systems are offered limited warranty for one (1) year.
2. SmarrCopy™ controller products are offered three (3) years warranty; 2 years parts and 3 years labor.
3. Chassis offer (one) 1 year limited warranty on power supply and material defect.
4. All optical drives are warranted through each own original manufacturers.

How to Claim RMA Service
You must provide your original sales receipt showing the date of purchase to support any claim under the warranty. This limited warranty extends solely to you, the original purchaser, and is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases, leases or otherwise obtains the product from you. The SmarrCopy™ authorized dealer from whom you purchased the product will handle return and /or service.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover
1. Any product, on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
2. Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
a. Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
b. Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by SmarrCopy ™
c. Damage to or loss of any programs, data or removable storage media.
d. Software or data loss occurring during repair or replacement.
e. Any damage of the product due to shipment.
f. Removal or installation of the product.
g. Causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure.
h. Use of supplies or parts not meeting SmarrCopy™ specifications.
i. Normal wear and tear.
j. Failure of owner to perform periodic product maintenance as stated in User Guide, such as failure to perform periodic cleaning of user-cleanable projector filters.
k. Any other causes which do not relate to a product defect.
l. Damage caused by static (non-moving) images displayed for lengthy periods of time (also referred to as “burn-in”).
m. Damage to, or abuse of, the coating on the surface of the display.

DOA Policy
In rare cases if a new product becomes non-functional during thirty (30) days from the date of purchase, it is considered as DOA (Dead on Arrival), and you should promptly report the DOA product to SmarrCopy™ for a new replacement. You are required to provide a valid credit card so that a pre-authorization (RMA #) for DOA shipment can be obtained.
To request this warranty service:
1. Complete the DOA RMA form, then sign and return it with proof of purchase
2. If you fail to return the defective unit within 15 days from the date the replacement was shipped, the provided credit card will be charged for the new replacement. Any returned unit(s) that is damaged or has missing accessories will also result in a charge to your credit card.
3. SmarrCopy™ will expedite a new replacement the next day via FedEx/UPS ground, provided that
a completed DOA request form is received by 12:00PM PST. In addition, SmarrCopy™ will provide freight for the customer's DOA return. (Subject to availability. If the same model is not available, a similar new replacement will be provided.)

Limitation of Implied Warranties
There are no warranties, express or implied, which extend beyond the description contained
herein, including the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Exclusion of damages:
SmarrCopy™'s liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the product.
SmarrCopy™ shall not be liable for:
1. Damage to other property caused by any defects in the product, damages based upon inconvenience, loss of use of the product, loss of time, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, interference with business relationships, or other commercial loss, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
2. Any other damages, whether incidental, consequential or otherwise.
3. Any claim against the customer by any other party.

Effect of Local Law
This warranty gives the customer specific legal rights. In addition, the customer may also have other rights, which vary from locality to locality. Some localities do not allow limitations on implied warranties and/or do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.
All prices, products, terms & conditions are subject to change without notice. Some states or provinces/jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation or incidental or consequential damages for consumer products, and some states or provinces/jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. In such states or provinces/jurisdictions, the exclusions or limitations of this limited warranty may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state, jurisdiction to jurisdiction. You are advised to consult applicable state and provincial/ local laws for a full determination of your rights.
